Ana Ivanovic may have been beaten by by Maria Sharapova in the 2008 Australian Open but she will not be forgotten. The Serbian brunette beauty is an up and coming force on the women's tennis circuit and I'll guess she will be on more magazine covers than Britney Spears by the end of the year.

With her sultry dark eyes and her powerful ground strokes she is another in a long line of gorgeous athletes in today's women's athletics that look like models but play like champions.

Maria Sharapova got the best of her last night but I would look for her to win her first major very, very soon.
