Thursday

It's Thursday afternoon and I am being lazy. I know, I know, what a surprise. I was going to mow my lawn but my neighbor did it. I was going to watch the U.S. Open but the men were playing. I was going to write a brilliant post but instead I am writing this one.

Not that I can't be brilliant here but in the lethargic mood I am in I doubt if brilliance will be created. I think it is the lack of sleep. Lately I have been getting between three and four hours. I have one son that needs a ride home from work at 1 AM and I have two others who need woke up for school at 6 AM. Then you throw in the wife's alarm going off at 4 AM - it's a little hard to get good rest.

Ever try writing when your eyes are closed? Not as easy as it sounds. Too many typos and I spend most of my time fighting with my spell check. It apparently doesn't work very well unless you get at least half the letters right in a word.

It also has a hard time when I throw in names of Russian tennis players like Sharapova or Dementieva. You would think as tall and as shapely as those two are, Google would recognize their names. Google spell check also claims it has no knowledge of Ana Ivanovic but we all know that can't be true. After all she is not only number one in the world but also on a scale of one to ten she is about an eleven and a half.

Google needs to update their spell check to include dazzling looking tennis players so i don't have to learn to spell in Russian because on days like this English is hard enough.
