American Idol was a waste to watch last night. It was a lot of fluff and very little singing. I would like to hear the singers for myself before the judges pick Lil Rounds to be your next American Idol.
Tonight I think I will watch repeats of King of Queens and save myself the frustration of thinking, "after the next commercial, surely Seacrest will be out and singing will be in". Last night I would of channel switched long before the hour was over but there was the hope, Katrina "Bikini Girl" Darrell and Kara "The New Judge" DioGuardi would get into a pillow fight. All men know what happens after the pillows fly. DioGuardi does seem to have a hair up something about the slinky brunette Katrina. Darrell can sing a little bit so if Kara keeps it up she will probably goad Simon and Randy into pushing her into the final 36 just to aggravate her.
I would guess Katrina Darrell has already realized her goal when she Googled "bikini girl" and found out she was atop the search engine listings.
So Kara, my advice is, either mud wrestle Katrina or shut up but whatever you do - let me know when you start broadcasting singing again and not a series of sob stories.
I don't buy CD's based on back stories!
