Why I keep the Tree

This is the few days of the year where all the tree trimming and leaf raking is worth while. I can look out into my backyard and enjoy the tree. The other weeks of the year I swear I will cut it down like Paul Bunyan clearing the great northern forests. Just as the time comes when I am sharpening my axe (electric chainsaw) the leaves change I remember why the tree is worthwhile.
