Identity Theft Doesn't Scare Me

Identity theft is a major problem in America. It is up again this year over last and surely will continue to grow but I am not worried. I have a sure fire way to prevent criminals from stealing my identity. I lead a life no one would want!

Not only would know one want my life, they would not even wish it on their worst friend or best enemy. It is a life of keyboard drudgery and office boredom. It makes accounting look like movie stardom. It makes farming look profitable. I know of park rangers who have more interaction with people than I do.

I spend my day writing drivel and tweaking internet ads to squeeze out one more ounce of beer money. Lucky for me I do not have a palate for expensive beers and I only drink beer on special occasions, like when I am out of tequila!

This is the life of a web editor. I know it doesn't coincide with the ads promising 938 dollars a day through blogging but it's, I am afraid, closer to reality.

So here I sit and write knowing I am immune to identity theft. It's not much to base a life on but it's my only job perk so I will accept it with graciousness.
